Hey there pals, It's been a long time since a forum post, especially one from me. It's very rare for an admin to take a front page post, but somehow the previous five were all written and posted by Aleturas. Eh, I'm back now. Great news, huh? Huh? HUH? k. After the unfortunate event which ended Survival Ultra, we released Survival 3.0. Surprisingly, this server actually did okay. We regained a large number of players from the OG days, of course with absolutely zero advertising - COAST STYLE BECAUSE WE JUST LOVE TO BE DOOMED TO A PLAYERBASE OF ZERO. As expected, the server died off in September once school started, but another issue coincided where the server had run its course. It was time for a reset. For a little while, we considered the possibility of a "temporary" survival - short term, two teams. The team with the most essence (re-purposed currency) at the end wins tokens... except you can backstab and change teams and blah blah blah. Ultimately, I decided to go ahead and just release full Survival 4.0, but we're taking this back to basics. -> No custom terrain (internal polls and Twitter polls show that at the least it's a split opinion, but some polls have a clear preference of vanilla terrain) -> 1.12.2 -> ... Coast Survival season 1 lobby Oh man, blame this guy. (If you want to join Coast's Discord server (you do) click here) As per usual with our resets, the majority of changes will come in the month(s) following release, and not upon release. The server will be almost the same functionally as the previous servers' end state. There are a few key features to improve, implement or redo in this survival, but it depends ultimately on the support that the release gets. Considering the school season is in full swing and this is our 6th map if you count Cube servers, we'll just have to see how that goes.
